Watertown Reds & Arlington Trojans Take Friday Night Wins

Nate Beck tossed a complete game five-hitter to lead the Reds to a 3-0 shutout win over the Melrose Americans in Watertown. Beck (1-1) struck out six. Cal Cristofori led the Reds with a homer and two RBI and Justin Forman drove in the other run. Zach Begin (1-1) took the loss despite allowing just four hits in his six innings of work.

In Arlington, Andrew Hamel scattered five hits and struck out six when the Trojans walked off with a 3-2 seventh inning win over the Somerville Royals.

There are no ICL games scheduled on Saturday.
