The Americans scored four times in bottom of the seventh inning to take the walk off win. The Reds tallied three runs in top of the inning to break a 3-3 tie and take a 6-3 lead. Ronnie Luke (1-0) got the win when he recorded the last out in Reds’ seventh. Hunter Boyce added two RBI’s for the now 4-2 Americans.

At Endicott College,  Steve Keskinidis (1-0) threw a complete game four-hitter to get the Wakefield Merchants past the Reading Bulldogs 4-1.  Bobby Losanno had three hits, including a triple, and Mark Webber had a double and a single, and Mike Sorrentino recorded a double and a couple of RBI’s  for the Merchants. Darren Hartwell had two of the Bulldogs four hits as Colby Morris (0-1) took the loss.

The Chiefs broke open a 1-1 game, sending ten batters to the plate and scoring six fifth inning runs, on the way to beating the Lexington Blue Sox 7-3 at Maplewood. Mitchell Clegg (1-0) scattered three hits and struck out seven in six innings to chalk up the win. Mike Gedman hit a two run homer and Johnny Welch and Mike Andre had RBI’s to lead the Chiefs.
