Blue Sox Edge Reds 2-1, Alibrandis Beats Royals at Trum 5-1
| Andrew Selima’s pinch-hit double in the bottom of the sixth scored Richie Burgos with the winning run when the Blue Sox edged the Watertown Reds 2-1 in Lexington.. Burgos reached on an error that allowed Taylor Ferguson (HB) to score the tying run. Cassey Bussone improved to 2-0 with a complete game five hitter. He struck out five and walked one. Nate Beck (0-1) gave up six hits, two unearned runs and struck out nine in the complete game loss. In other Friday night action, Alibrandis beat the Somerville Royals 5-1. |
