EMass All-Star Classic is Today at 1:00 PM at Morelli Field, Friday Results

The Fifth Annual Eastern Massachusetts All-Star Classic will be played today (Saturday) at Morelli Field in Melrose, MA starting at 1:00 PM.

The Intercity League and the Boston Park League will meet at 1:00 PM and the Yawkey League and the Cranberry League will tangle at 4:30 PM. The winners of these games will meet for the championship and the Louis T. DiTullio Memorial Trophy at 7:30 PM.

Admission is $5.00. Morelli Field is located at Melrose High School, 360 Lynn Fells Parkway, Melrose, MA 02176.

On Friday in the ICL, the Andre Chiefs came from behind to beat the Arlington Trojans 6-4, the Lexington Blue Sox shutout the Reading Bulldogs 7-0, and the Wakefield Merchants edged the Melrose Americans 6-5 in a see-saw extra inning battle.

Due to the EMass Classic, there are no ICL games on Saturday.
