Blue Sox Beat Maddogs 17-6, Expos Rally to Edge Americans, 5-4
Alex Voitik (2H, 2R, 4 RBI) and Andrew Selima (2H, 2R, 3 RBI) paced the Blue Sox offense in a 17-6 win over the Malden Maddogs on Thursday night in Lexington. Bennett Teceno drove in 3 runs and Julian Alvarez scored 3 runs for the Blue Sox. Lawrence Tang hit his first home run of the season in the 6th. Braden Killen (3R, 2H, RBI) and Isaiah Pinto (2H, R, RBI) led Malden.
Gavin Dauer (1-1) picked up the win.
The Middlesex Expos rallied from a 4-2 deficit in the bottom of the seventh inning, scoring three runs, to walk away with a 5-4 victory over the Melrose Americans at Brandeis.
The Maddogs visit the Reading Bulldogs in Lexington tonight at 7:00 PM in the only game on the Friday ICL schedule.
