Schaefer Fires 1-Hitter for Bulldogs, Maddogs Rout Chiefs 13-1

Co;ey Schaefer (4-0) fired a one-hit shutout to lead the Bulldogs to a 3-0 win over the Stoneham Sabers on Tuesday night in Lexington. Mike Sibert (double) drove in two of the Bulldogs’ runs while Seamus Condon had the other RBI. Schaefer struck out six and walked only one. Julian Murray (0-2) allowed only four hits while taking the loss……The Malden Maddogs got three RBI’s from Armanis Romero and two each from Luke Miele, Luke Whitney, Shea Lafleur, amd Boden Belanger on the way to a 13-1 thrashing of the Andre Chiefs at Maplewood. Justin Posnik (4-3) struck out 10 in 6.2 innings to grab the win……
