Monday’s ICL Recap

Craig Barnes (2-1) fired a complete game four-hitter when the Stoneham Sabers beat the Malden Maddogs 4-2 at Minuteman Voc in Lexington. Declan Ryan led the Sabers with two hits and two runs scored. Barnes struck out a dozen…..Pat Costiagn hit two homers , Shawn Nestor went 4-4, and Tyler Normandie had a round tripper and drove in three runs to when the Americans trounced ADSL 12-1 at Morelli Field in Melrose. Nick Banforth (4-0) struck out eight in five innings to grab the win….Kyle Murphy (2-0) tossed five shutout innings when the Blue Sox blanked the Boston Padres 13-0 in Lexington. Dylan Walsh had three hits and a couple of RBI and Ryan Grundy hit a three run homer.
