Blue Sox and Expos Take Tuesday Wins

Cam Myers drove in five runs, including a three run homer, to lead the Blue Sox to a 12-5 win over the Andre Chiefs in Lexington. John Fritz added three RBI’s as the Blue Sox unleashed a 17 hit offense. Ryan Noone drove home three of the Chiefs five runs. Gavin Dauer (2-1) picked up the win as Lexington sent six different pitchers to the mound. Chiefs’ starter Paul Frisoli (1-1) took the loss.

At Maplewood, the Middlesex Expos used two homers from Leon Paulino and single dingers from Mike Golankiewicz and Dionys Quezada (4 RBI’s) on the way to a 15-5 win over the Malden Maddogs. Dan Shaw (1-1) went five innings and struck out six to gain the win.

On Wednesday, the Maddogs and Melrose Americans meet at Morelli Field at 7:30 PM and Expos host the Reading Bulldogs at Brandeis at 8:15 PM.
