Bulldogs Beat Expos 8-5 in East Boston

Emilio Berndt drove in three runs and Peyton Heisner (2 RBI) homered when the Lexington Bulldogs beat the Middlesex Expos 8-5 on Thursday night at East Boston Stadium. Brett Stone added three hits and Jack Lee drove in a couple of runs for Lexington. Nolan Whelan (1-0) picked up the win as the Bulldogs used five pitchers……The Sabers-Maddogs game was postponed due to wet grounds at Marcella Playground……
