Kirby K’s 14 as Expos Knock Off Bulldogs 7-1

Zach Kirby (2-0) struck 14 batters and allowed just three hits when the Middlesex Expos beat the Reading Bulldogs 7-1 in Lexington on Sunday evening. It was the only ICL game on the schedule. The Expos jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the top of the first inning and never looked back. Newcomer Ryan Cloutier led Middlesex at the plate going 3 for 3 including a three run triple. Starter Madison Dina (0-1) took the loss for the Bulldogs.

On Monday the Chiefs host the Expos at Maplewood and the Bulldogs visit the Blue Sox in Lexington. Both games are scheduled to start at 8:00 PM.
