Shaw Blanks Blue Sox for Expos 3-0, Maddogs Beat Bulldogs for 3rd Straight Win

Righty Dan Shaw fired a complete game shutout when the Sabertooth Expos beat the Lexington Blue Sox 3-0 on Thursday night in Lexington. Angelo Colucci provided what proved to be the game winner with a solo homer in the top of third inning. Shaw, now 2-1, allowed just five hits and struck out nine batters. Austin Masel had two of the Lexington hits. Braham Rosario (0-1) struck out eight in his four innings but took the loss.

At Maplewood, the Malden Maddogs won their third straight game of the week knocking off the Lexington Bulldogs 9-1.
