Tuesday’s ICL-BPL Roundup
Brady Gillis (1-1) tossed a five hitter and Jack Keyo had a couple of RBI’s when the Stoneham Sabers beat ADSL 5-2 in Lexington.
Rob Carrillo (3-0) picked up his third straight win in the Malden Maddogs’ 8-2 win over Mass Envelope/GM at Maplewood. Braeden O’Connell had three hits and three RBI’s for Malden.
The Lexington Blue Sox got four strong innings from Brady Andrews (1-0) to turn back the Boston Blue Jays 3-1 at Town Field. Logan Our drove in two of the Blue Sox runs and Ryan Grundy had a solo homer. Andrews struck out nine.
Daniel Ferris (4 RBI’s, HR) and Chris Klein (3 RBI’s, HR) led the Melrose Americans to a 13-4 win over the Brighton Braves at Cleveland Circle. Tyler Nelson (2-1) struck out eight in five innings to record the win. Pat Costigan added a solo homer for Melrose.
In the final game of the evening Triple D’s/TJO’s shutout the Lexington Bulldogs 7-0 at Fallon Field in Roslindale,
