| The Lexington Blue Sox used a 5-run first inning on the way to a 9-2 win Wednesday night. The game was moved to Minuteman Tech’s turf field after the Lexington’s home field was unplayable due to rain. Nick Andersen’s 2-run triple was the big hit in the first. Erick Ramirez had three hits and scored three runs. Chris Wanat (2-1) pitched five 1-run innings. He gave up four hits, walked none, and struck out six. Dan Metzdorf and Ryan O’Rourke pitched the sixth and seventh innings and both had three strikeouts……..Mass Envelope/GM doubled up the Andre Chiefs 8-4 at Maplewood. The Chiefs relinquished a 3-0 4th inning lead when the visitors scored a half dozen runs. Miles Reid reached base four times f0r the Chiefs and Joe Bova and Michael Soares (double) had RBI’s……All other games were postponed…..
