Monday’s ICL Roundup

Matt Draper (5-0) won his fifth straight decision, and lefty Ryan O’Rourke struck out eight batters in three innings to record the save, when the Blue Sox beat the Brighton Braves 3-1 in Lexington.

Paul Frisoli (1-0), in relief of starter Silas Reed, got his first win of the year and A.J. Rourke struck out the side in the seventh to get the save when the Andre Chiefs beat the Melrose Americans 6-3 at Maplewood. Tyler Ferdinand and Joe Bova each had a couple of hits for the Chiefs while John Jennings had two hits for Melrose.

Ryan Rametta (1-1) scattered five hits over six innings to pitch the Malden Maddogs to a 4-2 win over the E.I. Braves at Cleveland Circle. Eric Ramirez led the Malden offense with two doubles, a stolen base, and three RBI’s.

ADSL broke a 2-2 tie, scoring a couple of runs in both the top of the sixth and seventh innings, to pull away from the Middlesex Expos 6-2 at East Boston Stadium.
