Americans Win 5-2, Frisoli (15 K’s) 3-Hits Middlesex in 5-1 Alibrandis Win

Bobby Losanno had a double, two singles, two RBI, and stole four bases, to lead the Melrose Americans to a 5-2 win over the Reading Bulldogs in a make-up game played Friday at Austin Prep. It was the Americans’ sixth straight win. Colin Jaena (2-1) went four innings to get the win while Bobby Tramondozzi picked up his fourth save. Tyler Cedeno had two doubles for the Bulldogs.

Paul Frisoli threw a complete game three-hitter, striking out 15, when Alibrandis knocked off the Middlesex Expos 5-1 at Trum. Michael Maguire had three of Alibrandis ten hits while Gordie Gronkowski, Ted Zupkus and Tyler Ferdinand all had doubles.

There are no ICL games scheduled on Saturday.
