Chiefs Rally to Take 5-4 Walk Off Over Expos
Teddy Dziuba had a third inning solo homer and a game tying two out two RBI double in the seventh inning to lead the Andre Chiefs to a dramatic 5-4 come from behind eight inning win over the Middlesex Expos at Maplewood on Monday night. The Chiefs scored three times in the seventh to erase a 4-1 Expos lead and tie the game at 4-4. They won it an inning later on a Ryan Noone leadoff triple and a Kyle DeRoma sacrifice fly. Veteran righty Anthony Del Prete (1-0), the fourth Chiefs pitcher of the night, picked up the win throwing two innings of one-hit shutout relief. Ryan Cloutier (0-1) took the loss.
On Tuesday, the Chiefs meet the Blue Sox in Lexington and the Expos visit the Malden Maddogs at Maplewood. Both games will start at 8:00 PM.
